Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced earlier this season that they have secured defenseman Frederic Brunet with a three-year entry-level contract valued at $860,000 per year.

This 20-year-old player had a successful 2022-23 season in the QMJHL, scoring 15 goals and amassing 73 points. He also made a one-game appearance for AHL Providence, contributing with two assists.
