The CCTV footage of Paul Bissonnette's assault in Scottsdale, Arizona, was made public on Tuesday. The video showed shocking visuals of the six men who ambushed the former NHL player inside a restaurant and later in the parking lot on Nov. 24.

Paul Bissonnette was at a diner named 'Houston's' when he found himself involved in a major fight with a group who were harassing the restaurant staff. The six men were later arrested by the police, all of them received assault charges while some were also added additionals.

The footage from inside the restaurant showed Bissonnette walking up to the group to break up a scuffle between them and the management. As soon as he tries to reason with them, punches are thrown at him. The next footage is near the restaurant's front gate. The former left winger can be seen defending himself from the barrage of punches and kicks as he is taken to the outside.

Barstool Sports owner and Paul Bissonnette's employer David Portnoy reacted to the video. He commended Bissonnette's courage but was appalled that none of the other men, quietly chilling at the bar, helped out as Bissonnette took the fight on his own.

"30-1. Obviously the Irish travelers are dirt bags but what about every man in that restaurant who sat and did nothing? I’m a total p**sy with two broken shoulders and woulda tried to help," Portnoy wrote on X.

Paul Bissonnette's 'absolute win' for being recognized as The Rock

In another video, one of the assailants, Henry Mesker, claims to identify Paul Bissonnette as someone with a physique similar to that of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Mesker said he was walking back into the restaurant when he saw the fight break out and later escalate. He described the former Penguins player, who was beating up one of his mates, as being around 50-year-old and resembling the Hollywood star's physique.

Portnoy reacted to this as well, claiming that it was a big deal for Biz to earn that.

"What an absolute win for, [Paul]," Portnoy wrote on X.

Portnoy was one of the first to contact Bissonnette after the FOX News broke the news. He had called it 'vintage' when the "Splittin Chiclets" host had described the fight as taking some but giving back more.
