NHL analyst on Chicago Blackhawks' leaked 2024 Winter Classic jerseys

NHL analyst Jay Zawaski discussed the leaked 2024 Winter Classic jerseys for the Chicago Blackhawks on the CHGO Blackhawks Podcast on Saturday.

"Icethetics, who is like the authority on hockey uniforms around the NHL, I guess has inside info that the Blackhawks Winter Classic Jersey is going to be red," Zawaski said.

Zawaski expressed excitement about this news, recalling that when the 2024 Winter Classic was first announced, he had hoped the Blackhawks would go with a red jersey for the event. At the time, Zawaski wrote:

"Please for the love of god make a red Winter Classic Jersey, and you're welcome everyone."

Now that a red jersey has reportedly been leaked, Zawaski jokingly took credit:

"That's the only winner classic announced I write column saying bring red jersey, cut two reported red jersey, there's no other conclusion to draw other than I influence them completely."
