Anaheim Ducks forward Leo Carlsson left Monday's game after a nasty hit from Seattle Kraken forward Tye Kartye.
The incident occurred in the second period when Carlsson was driven into the goal post, prompting immediate concerns as he headed down the tunnel to the locker room.
The Ducks later confirmed that Carlsson would not return to the game.
Carlsson managed to get back on his feet after briefly going down on the ice. It appeared he avoided a head injury when hitting the ice following the hit from Kartye.
In response to the hit, Ducks defenseman Radko Gudas dropped his gloves with Kartye. Leo Carlsson has accumulated 11 points through six goals and five assists this season.
Fans can expect to hear about an update on the player soon.
