Nino Niederreiter, Adam Lowry and Mason Appleton form the third line, with Morgan Barron, David Gustafsson and Alex Iafallo on the fourth. According to the infographic, Josh Morrissey and Dylan DeMelo will lead the defense, supported by Dylan Samberg and Neal Pionk, with Logan Stanley and Colin Miller rounding out the defensive pairings. Connor Hellebuyck and Kaapo Kahkonen are the goalies for the next season.

This tweet has since gained the attention of fans, who seemed concerned over the changes in their squad depth. Following are some fan reactions from X/Twitter:

“I’m worried the Jets might have a brutal year this year. They lost so much depth at every position and added no one. They have it really tough when attracting free agents.”

“Bubble playoff team. Week down the middle and not enough depth. Worst than last years team.m but still competitive,” one fan said.
“First line had embarrassing results last year. Connor and Scheifele are bad bad together,” another fan said.

Most fans were not happy with the lineup. They believed the team required more depth and star power to be considered contenders.

New arrivals and departures for Winnipeg Jets in the offseason

The Winnipeg Jets franchise is gearing up for the 2024-25 season with several changes in their roster and coaching staff. This offseason, the team brought in Kaapo Kahkonen as the new backup goalie to support star netminder Connor Hellebuyck. Kahkonen's experience in the NHL should add some depth to the Jets' goaltending lineup.

In terms of offense, the Winnipeg Jets signed Jaret Anderson-Dolan, a young forward who will be aiming to make an impact in the bottom six. The Jets also saw some significant departures in forward Sean Monahan and Tyler Toffoli in free agency. The defense took a hit with the loss of Brenden Dillon, while backup goalie Laurent Brossoit also moved on.

On the coaching side, the Winnipeg Jets promoted Scott Arniel to head coach after Rick Bowness retired. Arniel, who has deep ties to Winnipeg both as a player and coach, will now lead the team as they aim to build on their success from last season.
