The Florida Panthers received their long-awaited Stanley Cup Championship rings in a private ceremony on Monday. The event was originally scheduled to be a public celebration at the team's home arena but was moved due to the impending threat of Hurricane Milton.
The championship rings are designed by Jostens in collaboration with Panthers leadership. It features 187 diamonds cascading down the side, as well as sapphires forming the shape of the state of Florida.
One side of the ring has the recipient's name and a tab with either "Panthers" or their title within the organization. The other side has "Florida" across the top representing the state, with the year 2024 and an image of the Stanley Cup below.
Some unique design elements include a depiction of the WWE and NHL collaborative Stanley Cup Championship belt, as the Panthers are the first NHL team featured on it. The inside of the ring also has engraved references to the team's record-setting regular season and playoff run.
Fans gave their opinions on the Florida Panthers ring's design.

Florida Panthers CEO on canceling Champions Ring Ceremony
Florida Panthers CEO Matt Caldwell announced the cancellation of the team's Champions Ring Ceremony ahead of the season opener against the Boston Bruins.
“As this event would take resources from first responders and service providers, we have made the tough decision to cancel our Champions Ring Ceremony out of an abundance of caution (due to Hurricane Milton) for the safety of all involved. We will instead distribute our championship rings privately,” said Caldwell.
The season opening game will still be played as scheduled on Tuesday starting at 5 pm before the 7 pm puck drop against the Boston Bruins.
