2025 4 Nations Face-Off tournament and Team USA's roster

The 2025 4 Nations Face-Off tournament will run from Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston. It’s the first such international hockey event since the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

Chris Kreider narrowly made the team over Vincent Trocheck due to his power-play skills. Other potential forwards include Troy Terry, Alex Tuch and Matt Boldy, showing Team USA’s depth.

On defense, the U.S. roster includes top players like Quinn Hughes, Adam Fox and Charlie McAvoy. John Carlson, a veteran, joins as the oldest defenseman, bringing experience and leadership.

For goalies, Team USA has Connor Hellebuyck, Jake Oettinger and Jeremy Swayman. Oettinger replaces Thatcher Demko, who is injured. Hellebuyck and Oettinger have started the NHL season strong, making the goalie position a strength for Team USA.
