One major challenge has been stopping Panthers forward Bennett, who scored again in Game 3 and now has four goals in the series.

Knoblauch addressed the issue of slowing Bennett down. He said it's not just about one player or one line. The coach stressed that the whole team needs to play better overall.

"That's a collective thing," Knoblauch said. [1:57] "But for our team, you know, I think the more time we spend in the offensive zone, the better, you know, the easier we can break the puck out. We're not in the offensive zone, giving up chances off of their forecheck.

"Yeah, I don't think there's an individual thing where it's one line playing against that line, or Sam, you know, obviously he's a very good player. He's going to get some chances, but, you know, they've got a good team, so our focus can't be on solely one player or one line."

That way, the team won't face as many chances off the Panthers’ forecheck.

Sam Bennett's performance has been strong. In Game 3, he made a big hit, collected the puck and finished with a slick goal. That goal showed his speed, skill, and physical play. He now has 14 goals and six assists in the playoffs. His aggressive, high-energy style has made a big difference for Florida in this playoff and even in the last two seasons.

Game 4 will be crucial for the Oilers, as they’ll need to improve in all areas, including how they handle Bennett.

Panthers forward Brad Marchand praised Sam Bennett

The Panthers' trade deadline acquisition, Brad Marchand, praised Sam Bennett's all-around game. He said he’s been an animal this postseason and praised his competitiveness.

“He’s been an animal this whole playoffs," Marchand said, via NHL.com. "He’s built for this time of year, just how competitive he is and how intense. Obviously you see the physicality piece."

While Sam Bennett’s physical and offensive skills make him a big threat, Knoblauch wants the Oilers to stay focused on team play, not just one player. Game 4 is set for Thursday, when the Oilers will look to even the series.
