More details have emerged about the six men allegedly involved in the assault of former NHL player and TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette in Scottsdale, Arizona. Five of the individuals have been accused of misdemeanor and disorderly conduct, while one, Sean Daley, faces felony charges. Daley has been charged with forgery and aggravated assault.

The incident occurred on Sunday evening when the former Coyotes player was having dinner at Houston's, a restaurant in Scottsdale. An argument broke out between a group of men and the restaurant staff, with them harassing the manager. Bissonnette, known for his affinity of getting into hockey fights, stepped up for the restaurant staff and immediately intervened.

The former NHL winger got into a scuffle with the entire group. The physical fight spilled out of the restaurant and into a nearby CVS. As per Biz, 'he took some but gave more' fighting seven men. When the police arrived, six of them were arrested.

News of the incident broke on Monday when Fox 10 Sports reported the story. Bissonnette later shared his side of the events in a video on X (formerly Twitter) before covering it in detail on Barstool Sports' "Spittin' Chiclets" podcast, which he co-hosts.

As per the court documents obtained by 3TV and CBS News in Phoenix, Sean Daley's military ID appeared to be fake. Daley admitted it was fraudulent questioning by law enforcement.

The alleged assaulter was also charged with aggravated assault, as reports suggested he had held the broadcaster down to the ground and hit his head twice. As Daley tried to go again, he fell backward, which gave enough time for Bissonnette to seek refuge at a nearby CVS.

As per the Maricopa County's official records, the accused also didn't have a remorseful attitude. When asked if he would be able to be there for his preliminary on Dec. 12, he said will 'try' to make an effort as he resides in Texas.

“If I have to be, I can try to make it,” he said. “Yes, M’am.”

The judge reprimanded him for his choice of words and even threatened him with a bond. As for Paul Bissonnette, the case has become the major talking point of the hockey community.
