Former Pittsburgh Penguins star goalie Marc-Andre Fleury had fans laughing with his Halloween costume as McLovin from the movie Superbad. B/R Open Ice shared the picture on social media, calling him “McFleury.”

They tweeted:

"IT’S YOU …. MCFLEURY 👇 Marc-Andre Fleury with an iconic McLovin Halloween costume 🤣 (via IG/vlaroseefleury, h/t @dailyfleury )"

Marc-Andre Fleury talks about final NHL Season

Marc-Andre Fleury recently talked about his last NHL season. He smiled and joked about the retirement questions he gets:

“The funny thing is, last year, everybody asked everywhere we went: ‘Are you going to retire? Are you going to retire? So this year, I figured I’d just tell everybody I’m retiring, but sounds like I’m still going to be asked about it everywhere we go anyway.”

Fleury is a Hall of Famer with three Stanley Cup titles and many NHL records, including second-most wins.

Fleury does not want any special treatment this season. He said,

“I don’t want any special treatment. I just want to go, look around, bring back some memories from my time here, but definitely not looking forward to any special treatment. Don’t need that. We’re good.”

Fleury has signed a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Minnesota Wild. He wants to do better than his last season when the Wild missed the playoffs for the first time in 18 years.
