Toronto Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube noted defensive mistakes, saying:

“We made mistakes, bottom line. Defensive mistakes,” Berube said Thursday per NHL.com. “Lack of awareness on some of them. For me, we gave them three goals. Shouldn’t happen.”
“The third goal is just not doing things right. It was lazy hockey on the goal. That’s the bottom line.” Berube added.

The Blues controlled the game with strong defense, and Holloway scored an empty-net goal to secure the 5-1 victory.
