Bennett was asked by a reporter which players ate between overtimes.

“I think Marchi grabbed a blizzard,” Bennett said.

The reporter followed up and asked what kind.

“Yeah, I think it was Oreo today,” Bennett said.

When asked if it had honey, Bennett smirked and said "yeah."

Marchand then chimed in.

“Nice plug," Marchand said. "I like that.”

The “Dairy Queen thing” started during the Eastern Conference final. Marchand joked in an interview about a trip to Dairy Queen and called cookie dough blizzards “the best dessert in the world.” The clip went viral, and fans thought Marchand was eating blizzards between periods.

Marchand later cleared the air and said it wasn’t ice cream, and that it was just a spoonful of honey.

"It wasn't a blizzard," Marchand said on May 25, via ESPN. "I was not eating a blizzard in the middle of a game. I was referencing that. I was making a joke about our excursion a couple of nights before. Just kind of making a joke off of it and I think people took it seriously."

The honey worked well for him and the Panthers. The series is tied 1-1, and the next two games will be played in front of Florida's crowd.
