Marchand now has three goals in two Final games. He was acquired near the trade deadline and has quickly become a key player for Florida. The 37-year-old forward is still without a contract extension and may enter free agency on July 1.

Edmonton won Game 1 in overtime, but Florida responded in Game 2 with tighter defense and more control. The Oilers outshot the Panthers again, but Florida stayed composed. Marchand's goal came after the Oilers tied the game late in regulation.
