Take a look at some more reactions from NHL fans on X.
"Well he scored like 6 goals on my high school team when we played them. Fox Lane vs Nyack TZ outside at Provident Bank Park. Final score was 12-6. So we know that’s a lie @tzegras11," a fan tweeted.
"Future player of Edmontons shadow (Calgary Flames)," one fan said.
"Everything was confirmed when he said medium well," another fan commented.
Trevor Zegras trade rumors and Ken Daneyko's thoughts on his future
Trevor Zegras is currently in trade talks and the Ducks are open to hear offers for him. Zegras is signed with the Ducks for two more years on his actual three-year, $17.25 million deal. He will become a restricted free agent after the 2025-26 season.
Ken Daneyko, a former NHL player, spoke about Zegras on NHL Tonight. He praised Zegras for his skills and two seasons with over 60 points.
“Well look, he had two years of 60-plus points in the National Hockey League. That’s not easy to do. So we know he’s highly skilled. The things he can do with the puck a lot of players can’t do. A very talented young man, no question about it," Daneyko said.
"But all rumors right now, and I think for him, his main focus just has to be, ‘I’m going to training camp, I’m not deal right now. I’m going to get back to being a consistent team player, two-way guy that’s going to work his tail off," Daneyko added.
Daneyko also mentioned that trade rumors are not confirmed yet. It remains to be seen if Trevor Zegras will be moved at the start of the season.
