Darnell Nurse unleased a flurry of vicious right hands on a disbalanced Michael McCarron during the Edmonton Oilers' clash against the Nashville Predators on Tuesday.
The altercation unfolded in the first period as both players grappled, gripping their jerseys while exchanging punches.
Darnell Nurse managed to take the Preds winger down, causing him to wobble, and continued to deliver sharp right-hand jabs while McCarron was down on the ice.

Both players were hit with a five-minute major penalty for fighting. Meanwhile, Connor McDavid scored his first goal of the season to put the Edmonton Oilers up 3-2 with the second period in play.
Darnell Nurse and the Oilers improved their record
The Edmonton Oilers secured a convincing 4-2 victory against the Nashville Predators on Thursday night. After starting the season with three consecutive losses, the Oilers improved their record to 2-3-0.
Brett Kulak stood out with two goals, while Leon Draisaitl, Mattias Ekholm, and Mattias Janmark each contributed a point. Connor McDavid finally scored his first goal of the season at 18:29 of the third period, giving the Oilers a 3-2 lead.
For the Predators, Roman Josi and Jonathan Marchessault found the back of the net in the defeat. Goaltender Connor Pickard was impressive, making 25 saves for a .926 save percentage, while Juuse Saros allowed three goals on 35 shots, finishing with a .914 save percentage.
Darnell Nurse and the Oilers will next head to the American Airlines Center to face the Dallas Stars on Saturday, with the puck set to drop at 4 p.m. ET.
