Sidney Crosby is a Canadian professional ice hockey center and the captain of the National Hockey League's Pittsburgh Penguins. He was dubbed "The Next One" and nicknamed "Sid the Kid" by the Penguins after being selected first overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
