When Candace Cameron Bure shared pictures from her real-life senior prom

Candace Cameron Bure is an American actress best known for portraying D.J. Tanner on Full House and its sequel Fuller House. She is married to former NHL player Valeri Bure.

In 2016, the actress shared an adorable throwback photo of herself with her on-screen boyfriend Scott Weinger at her "real life senior prom."

The mother of three captioned a high school photo of the pair:

“#TBT to my real life senior prom with @scottweinger. Yup, this really did happen (Awwwww.) Should DJ and Steve be together or is this ancient history? #TeamSteve #TeamMatt The drama continues on season 2 of #FullerHuse coming to @netflix December 9!! Who’s ready?!”

Candace was dressed in a black floor-length spaghetti strap dress, a black pendant choker, and a corsage on her right wrist in the flashback photo, while Weinger was dressed in a tuxedo.

On the '90s sitcom, Weinger played D.J. Tanner's (Bure) boyfriend Steve Hale, and in the original series, he took his GF to prom.

In 1994, Valeri Bure met Candace at one of his hockey games. On June 22, 1996, the duo decided to tie the knot. Candace was 20 years old and Valeri was 22 years old at the time.

Candace has shared several throwback photos from their wedding, including one of their 22nd anniversary. She carried a bouquet of white roses and wore an off-the-shoulder, lacy ballgown with a layered veil and a dainty necklace on her wedding day.

Since their wedding in 1996, they've welcomed three children. Valeri Bure and his wife are the proud parents of Natasha, their first child, who was born in 1998. In 2000, Candace gave birth to their first son, Lev, and their second son, Maksim, was born in 2002.
