Bo Bassett's brother Keegan sends strong message to represent USA at World Championship, gets nod from the wrestler and Jax Forrest

Bo Bassett's brother Keegan is all set to represent the USA at the upcoming World Championships. The young wrestler also received best wishes from his brother Bo as well as teammate Jax Forrest.

Bassett uploaded photos of his training on his Instagram profile. He is all set to represent the country in the 45kg freestyle category at the under-17 World Championships, which shall be held in Athens, Greece, by the end of July.

The teenage wrestler added a caption to the post.

"Coming for it all! 56 days out from the World 🌎 Championships! Can’t wait to represent USA and rep the red, white, and blue 🇺🇸 #56days #burritos🌯 #goddid #grateful #godisgood🙏 #godsplan✝️"

Bo Bassett responded to the same by sending a one-word message in the comments section as he replied,

"Unstoppable"

Jax Forrest cheekily commented on the post,

"This may get Ugly"

Bo Bassett also shared his brother's story on his Instagram story, with the following caption,

"World Champion, 56 days"

Bo Bassett participated in the trials for both the U20 World Championships and the Senior World Championships. While he didn't make it to the senior version, Bo Bassett will be representing the USA at the U20 World Championships, which will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, from August 18 to August 24.

Like his elder brother Bo Bassett, Keegan Bassett has also established himself in both freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. In his conversation on The Bader Show, Bo Bassett opened up about the achievements of his younger brother and how he feels about it,

“Keegan’s the toughest of the three, and I’ll say that for sure—he’s the toughest of the three. He’s probably the strongest of the three too. He’s insanely strong at the weight that he’s at; like, he’ll, like, lift in my group sometimes—and I’m a 145, he’s 106—it’s crazy," Bo said. (30:54 onwards)

The young wrestler further added,

"And I’m not weak, you know. And yeah, he’s really strong, he’s really tough, and I think that Keegan has probably the highest roof. I think that he has the most potential in front of him. You know, he’s the youngest. He’s learning to go through experiences probably before he will himself."

Bo Bassett had won the gold medal at the U17 World Championships in 2021, followed by a bronze medal at the U20 World Championships last year. He has committed himself to the Iowa Hawkeyes wrestling team for the upcoming season.
