Harper Murray reminisces on Nebraska Volleyball fans massive cheers with memorable video

Nebraska Volleyball player Harper Murray shared a throwback moment of herself showing appreciation to the fans as they cheered her on after a match. Murray and her team last played at the Spring exhibition and are now enjoying downtime before taking the court in August.

Harper Murray, the phenomenal outside hitter of the Nebraska Women's volleyball program, was a dominant force in last spring match against South Dakota State. In front of a sold-out crowd, she recorded seven digs, five blocks, two aces and 12 kills to lead the Huskers to the win 25-18, 25-19, 25-17, 25-19. Murray and her team have been enjoying their off-time now, and the 20-year-old recently received an invitation from her brother, Deric's fiancee, Jaeda Lynn, to be her bridesmaid in the wedding.

In a recent Instagram post, the volleyball player shared a throwback post-game moment, where she showed appreciation to fans as they cheered her on. Murray tagged Husker Volleyball's in the caption, alongside a red heart.

Harper Murray won the NCAA Lincoln Regional Most Outstanding Player honor after anchoring her team to the win against Wisconsin in the regional finals. She posted si blocks, three aces, 20 kills and 15 digs in the NCAA semi-finals but the Huskers succumbed to the Penn State, failing to make it to the finals.

Harper Murray and the Huskers received a shock in the end of the NCAA season as head coach John Cook announced retirement, After 25 years of serving the Cornhuskers, he stepped down for former athlete, Dani Busboom Kelly, to take up coaching duties.

As Kelly took over, Murray shared that it was difficult for everyone to make adjustents since the techniques differed from Cook. However, the girls were excited to welcome the new.

"Kind of a whirwhind, just different, just like having Dani here and not having coach, and it's obviously, like, we all have to adjust in our own ways, but it's just really exciting, cause I really love how Dani runs practice and her coaching style, so for me it was just a lot of growth but also finding a way to lead and how I can be there for the freshman, cause this is their first semester and their first season with us, so it was just a learning growth thing for me, but I had a lot of fun," said Murray in an interview with Hail Varsity.
