Nebraska volleyball player Maisie Boesiger's sister, Malorie Boesiger, recently announced a major career update. Following her sister's footsteps, the latter has committed to the University of Nebraska for her volleyball and academic career.
Days after the conclusion of the Nebraska volleyball team's spring exhibition, the team's libero, Boesiger, graduated from the university in advertising and public relations. Shortly after this, her sister, Malorie, is seen walking in her footsteps, as she has announced her association with the University of Nebraska.
Malorie shared pictures wearing the Nebraska volleyball jersey on her Instagram and announced her career update in the caption. She penned a lengthy note, expressing her excitement to join the university and extending gratitude toward her family, teammates, and the coaching staff.

"I’m extremely excited to announce my commitment to the University of Nebraska to further my academic and volleyball career!!! First, I want to thank God for blessing me with the ability to play the sport I love and glorify Him. I also want to thank my family for all the support and love they’ve given me. Maisie Boesiger once sat for a conversation with 1890 Nebraska in 2024, where she spoke about her passion for being associated with Nebraska volleyball. During this interview, she also opened up about what significance the team's volleyball jersey holds for her, revealing that it was her dream to wear it since she was a little girl. Calling it 'special,' she said (0:39 onwards):
"It's been so special, yeah. I think that wearing a Nebraska uniform is something that every little girl dreams of, who plays volleyball growing up here, and it's just been honestly better than I could have ever imagined. Getting to wear the jersey and walk in the gym every day and be able to call Nebraska home, it's something that is really special and I definitely don't take it lightly," Maisie Boesiger said.
