Elite artistic gymnast, Suni Lee, has recently shared her thoughts on the safekeeping of her Olympic medals amid feeling boredom at home. The notable athlete playfully disclosed that she keeps her six Olympic medals in a secure place.
The Saint Paul, Minnesota, native rose to prominence with her Olympic debut in Tokyo in 2020, where she clinched three medals. She won a gold medal in the All-around event, a silver medal in the team event and a bronze medal in the uneven bars. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, after battling two kidney diseases, Suni Lee came back to win a gold medal in the team event, two bronze medals in the All-around and uneven bars events.
Since the Paris games, Lee has been enjoying her time off from the competitions. In March 2025, she returned to her training session in the uneven bars. Through her recent TikTok post, the prominent artistic gymnast disclosed that she keeps her six Olympic medals in a safe and secure place. She wrote:
"guys they're in a safe 😭😭 promise i take care of my babies 😂♥️"

Apart from her Olympic feats, Suni Lee also has one gold medal, one silver and one bronze medal from the 2019 World Championships. During her collegiate career with the Auburn Tigers gymnastics team, Lee won a gold medal in the balance beam event and a bronze in the All-around event at the 2022 NCAA Championships.

In her recent interview with the Women's Health Magazine on March 24, 2025, Suni Lee reflected on her incredible achievement of making her second Olympic team after overcoming two kidney diseases. She said:
"Olympic Trials was one of the most emotional and validating competitions of my life. I don't think most people realized the battle I had to go through to get there. I clawed my way back with everything I had. I just gave it my all—my personal best—which, to me, is always good enough."
She continued:
"And to be named to the team after all of that was surreal. Like, How did I just do that? Is this really happening? That moment, knowing I was going to be representing my country on my second Olympic team, was one of the greatest moments of my life."
In 2021, Suni Lee participated in Season 30 of the dance competition television series, 'Dancing with the Stars', with her partner, pro dancer, Sasha Farber. Lee concluded her journey with a fifth position after getting eliminated in Week 9.
