The team failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in their final attempt at the Jamaican Olympic trials at the national stadium.

The team tried qualifying for the global showpiece and being included in the Jamaica Athletics team at the World Athletics Relays but failed to impress. They finished third in their first-round heat and ended up finishing fifth in the second.

As per World Athletics and the International Olympic Committee, the top two teams were the only ones to qualify for the event.

The team also competed at the NACAC New Life Invitational held in Nassau, Bahamas with intentions of qualifying but could only manage a 2:59.75 performance that could not push them to the top 16 ranked teams.

The Jamaica Athletics Association then organized a 4x400m race at the trials but they could not beat the time to reach the top 16. As a result, the team will not be competing at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
