Usain Bolt on how he made the decision to retire from competitive sprinting

Usain Bolt revealed how he made the decision to retire from competitive sprinting. The Jamaican sprinter competed at four Olympic Games and six World Championships. He retired from the sport in 2017 after competing at the 2017 World Championships in London.
During his appearance on the High Performance podcast, Bolt discussed how he made the decision to retire, saying (3:35 onwards):
"For me, at the start of my career I made a end goal. When I started out, I said this is what I want to achieve and my biggest goal was to actually win three Olympics back-to-back. That was my main goal and that was my target, so when I actually got to that target, for me it was like a hard road of like 10-12 years of continuous work, so for me it was like, 'yes this is it', so I had gotten to my goal and that was it for me. So I knew at this moment if I got where I wanted, I would have stopped."
Bolt would also go on to say that winning three Olympic medals consecutively was a goal that he had aimed for to set himself apart from other athletes.
