WWE legend Shawn Michaels comments on Gable Steveson's exit from the organization
WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels recently opened up about Gable Steveson's exit from WWE.
In a conversation with Cageside Seats, Michaels, who is also currently one of the major members of the talent development department, lauded Steveson for the amazing talent he possesses. He also stated that wrestlers who are not able to find their footing in WWE decide to move on from the company.
He said:
"As far as Gable is concerned, he’s an incredibly talented guy. It’s amazing some of the things he can do. He’s a dude who lands on his feet. I wish him luck, and excited to see how that [the NFL] works out. "
He added:
"At NXT, we use people to the best of their ability, but from a main roster standpoint, if they feel there is not a place for them, and their contracts are up, from a business standpoint, they choose to move on."
After signing with the WWE as a NIL athlete in 2021, Gable Steveson didn't spend much time in the ring till the 2023 NXT Great American Bash where he took on Baron Corbin.
