Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens, currently signed with the Chicago Bears of the NBA, experienced his first Indianapolis 500-Mile Race, dubbed Indy 500. He posted a video montage to share his enriching experience at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indiana, United States.
Biles recently claimed her ninth national title at the 2024 US Gymnastics Championships. As her strongest supporter, Owens was present in person, admiring Biles' phenomenal maneuvers up close. Moreover, he was also noting down the scores.
But before that, when Simone Biles was busy gearing up for her national appearance, Owens took a trip to Indianapolis, Indiana, for the Indy 500.
Honda, the current engine provider alongside Chevrolet, had a new fan cheering at the 108th Running of the Indianapolis 500. Wearing an HRC cap and a white t-shirt, Owens kicked off on his 'Indy 500' team Honda-hosted journey. Taking to his Instagram, Simone Biles' husband posted a video montage for his fans to relive the journey with him.
"A day in the life!!! ✨ Come with me on my first Indy 500 experience," Owens wrote.
In the video, Owens expressed his ecstasy standing beside the bus allotted to take the Honda motor car drivers and said:
"Team Honda, taking us on a tour. My first time at an Indy 500 so I'm super excited. I'm excited to hearing the engines. The course is like two and a half miles, that is like crazy to me. We're gonna keep going on the tour, man gives a little behind the scenes..."
With Don Toliver-Bandit playing in the background, Owens was seen shooting clips of the cars and races from the audience box. He was also seen sharing moments with the HRC drivers, learning about the motor cars, and enlightening himself with Indy 500 insights.
"Lake Michigan definitely didn't disappoint" - Simone Biles' husband on his recent fishing experience
After signing with the Chicago Bears team this year, Owens engaged in a fishing activity in Lake Michigan along with his teammates. They caught 25 fish in 45 minutes, which was a limit-hitting moment for the NFL safety.
"Lake Michigan definitely didn’t disappoint. Wasn’t even on the water an hour and we hit our limit...we caught 25 fish in 45 minutes...crazy."
Owens is in anticipation of his NFL journey with the Chicago Bears team, while his wife awaits the Paris Olympics.
