In an interview with The Advocate, Dunne acknowledged how social media has grown hostile over time.

“Social media has gotten way more toxic and mean than when I first started,” Dunne said. “But I always say the more eyes you got on you, the more you’re doing something right, the more people are gonna try to tear you down.”

The six-part docuseries was produced in part by Shaquille O'Neal's Jersey Studios, with the former American basketball player being the executive producer.

Dunne was present at LSU's opening meet in Utah in 2023 to extend her support to her teammates, after an injury kept her away from the gymnastics mat, when a group of unruly boys kept yelling and demanding to see Dunne perform.
