The ongoing feud between Elon Musk and former President Donald Trump took an unexpected turn this week when Ashley St. Clair, the mother of Musk’s youngest son, jumped into the fray with a supposedly sarcastic tweet. Media personality Perez Hilton reacted to St. Clair's tweet.
According to People, St. Clair, who shares nine-month-old Romulus St. Clair with the billionaire, took to X on June 5, 2025, to seemingly mock Elon Musk’s public fallout with Trump.
"Hey @realDonaldTrump lmk if u need any breakup advice," she wrote.
Hilton took to X on June 8, 2025, to address St. Clair's tweet.
"Now this is funny! #ElonMusk's most recent babymomma that we know of:"
He also reported on Trump and Musk's dispute on his blog, calling it a "total s**t show".
The feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump explored
Elon Musk has been one of President Donald Trump's most avid and high-profile supporters. Musk, who had supported him after the 2024 assasination attempt, was one of Trump’s most prominent allies, co-heading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The two appeared side by side at political rallies, SpaceX launches and White House events, with Trump calling Musk a “star" when he won the 2024 elections.
But the relationship turned sour on June 3, 2025, when Elon Musk rebuked Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill”, a tax and spending bill, on X.
Musk labeled it a “disgusting abomination” and accused Congress of passing it without due diligence.
"This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it," he wrote.
The response was swift—Trump shot off a tweet threatening to end federal subsidies for Musk’s companies, including Tesla and SpaceX.
Musk also resurfaced old Trump tweets criticizing deficit spending, suggesting hypocrisy.
On June 5, 2025, he claimed that he was responsible for President Trump's victory in the 2024 elections and stated that Trump was showing him "ingratitude".
Trump dismissed Musk as "wearing thin" and claimed he had asked him to leave the administration.
Elon Musk then alleged in a now-deleted tweet that Donald Trump was named in Jeffrey Epstein’s files, implying it was why the documents hadn’t been released.
The White House denied the accusation, with Trump’s press secretary describing it as “an unfortunate episode.”
Trump also took to his social media platform Truth Social on June 7, 2025, to deny the allegations.

Musk also threatened to ground the Dragon spacecraft of SpaceX — a decision that would affect NASA missions — before backtracking hours later.
Trump has dismissed the feud, telling reporters,
“I’m not even thinking about Elon. He's got a problem. The poor guy's got a problem."
As reported by People, a White House official also told the New York Times that the President had plans to sell or give away his Tesla.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk has dangled the prospect of forming his own political party, the “America Party,” to cater to the political center.
