American columnist and blogger Perez Hilton took to YouTube on June 6, 2025, to share insights on the ongoing public feud between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. The two have reportedly been feuding over Musk's criticism of the "One Big Beautiful Bill," passed by the House of Representatives in May 2025.

The bill includes an extension of the 2017 tax cuts and more defense spending. However, it is now facing challenges in the Senate, as reported by The BBC.

Hilton reviewed Musk's X post from June 6, where he claimed that Trump is mentioned in the unreleased files of the late s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein.

"Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!" Musk wrote on X.

In a reply to his tweet, the Tesla CEO added "The truth will come out," after telling people to "mark" the "post for the future." Elon Musk then responded to a post calling for President Donald Trump's impeachment.

Reflecting on Musk's response to Trump's impeachment, Perez Hilton remarked

"Elon has all the money in the world to try and make a Trump impeachment a reality."

Hilton voiced his support for Trump, claiming that the U.S. President will defeat Musk and his companies. He added that Trump has a history of breaking the law and he does whatever it takes to win.

"Trump will crush Elon and his companies. Who cares if it's legal or not? Donald Trump has not been one to abide by the law, so you know who I'm picking in this fight, Trump.'"

In an X post shared on June 3, 2025, the Tesla and SpaceX founder voiced concern over the "One Big Beautiful Bill." In the post, Musk called the bill, which was passed by the House of Representatives in May 2025, a "disgusting abomination" and criticized those who support it.

Elon Musk added that the bill will significantly raise the "already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5 trillion" and will leave American citizens with unbearable levels of debt. In another X post, on June 4, Musk added that the "immense level of overspending" will lead the USA "into debt slavery."

Later that day, the White House released a statement denying the perception that the bill would increase the budget deficit, calling that idea a "hoax." However, they did not directly mention Elon, as reported by The BBC.

"By every honest metric, President Donald J Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill dramatically improves the fiscal trajectory of the United States and unleashes an era of unprecedented economic growth," the statement reads.

Subsequently, the next day, during a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, the U.S. President expressed disappointment with Musk.

"Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don't know if we will anymore. I was surprised," Trump said.

The President added that Musk knew "every aspect" of the bill better than anyone, stating that he never had a problem "until right after he left." Trump also acknowledged that he has always supported SpaceX and Tesla, expressing confusion over Musk's comments.

"But I don't understand how someone who benefited so much from American policy can turn around and call the bill that helps American industry an abomination," he said.

Later that day, Elon Musk replied to Trump's comment, stating that he was never shown the bill "even once."
