Sean "Diddy" Combs' federal racketeering and sex trafficking trial has been a buzzword on the internet and most of the podcasts. Patrick Bet-David, with the panel of co-hosts, has recently talked about a video of Trump's conversation with a media person discussing the pardon of Diddy.

In a clip of the PBD Podcast, uploaded on June 9 on Valuetainment, American TV personality Stephen Smith shared his view on pardoning Diddy. During the conversation, he said there is no coming back from the video showing Combs beating Ventura. While discussing this, he recalled a clip of singer R.Kelly, who is convicted of child sex crimes.

"I remember years ago guys when I saw a video R kelly and R kelly was having sex with a clearly an underaged girl the first words out of my mouth is there's going to be a prosecutor in his a*s within the week and our second third words out of my mouth was "I bet you it's a black one," Smith said.

He continued,

"Because that was a young Black girl, and our third thing I said is 'Why?'" Because that man probably got a daughter.....you have a daughter, and you see somebody else's daughter in a video being treated like that, what do you want to do?"

As per the BBC, R.Kelly was convicted of multiple charges of sexually abusing women and children for two decades. He is currently serving a 30-year prison sentence.

As mentioned earlier, in the podcast clip, the panel was reacting to a video in which a journalist is asking Trump about Diddy's trial and the possibility of a pardon. In the video, the US president can be heard saying that he is not closely following the trial. He also mentioned that Combs was good to him at once; however, Combs spoke out against Trump when he entered politics.

The host, Patrick Bet-David, also read the reaction from rapper 50 Cent, who seemingly didn't want Trump to pardon Combs. Bet-David asked for Stephen Smith's take on Trump's reaction.

"I don't want to hear about pardons from Trump based on who he likes or who's complimentary to him. You're the commander-in-chief; if you believe there's a viable case to pardon somebody, make your call; if you believe there's not, make your call but it shouldn't be predicated on 'he was very nice to me,' 'he's always very good to me,'" Smith said.

Stephen also said that if Diddy is found innocent on federal charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, then he may be set free. However, he laid down Combs for violence and sexual accusations that came forward from videos and testimonies.

"We saw that video with you beating your girl; ain't no coming back from that. Nope, we heard testimony that your own defense didn't deny where not only were sexual acts taking place with sex workers as well as yourself urinating in her mouth, but you're not coming back from that," Smith said.

He further added that there may be people "committed to convicting him" who don't care about charges. He said that it's hard for him to believe that Diddy is going to get off after these testimonies and videos.

Combs' defense admitted that his actions could have led to domestic violence charges, but argued they did not amount to sex trafficking or racketeering.
