Recently, rumors have been circulating online about The Valley couple, Danny and Nia Booko, potentially leaving the show after season 2.
On June 10, 2025, a fan account, @_surrules, shared an alleged statement from the couple explaining their decision. According to the post, they chose to step away from the reality series because it no longer aligned with the values of their family life. The alleged statement began:
"After much thought and prayer, we've decided to step away from The Valley before the end of Season 2. While we're grateful for the experience and the friendships we've made along the way, this chapter no longer aligns with the values we hold as a family."
The statement also mentioned that they didn’t want to raise their child in that kind of environment, and protecting the peace around their family was at the top of their priority list.
"We wish the cast and crew all the best moving forward and are excited for what's next in our journey," the alleged statement concluded.
Although the statement appeared to have come from the couple, Danny confirmed through his June 11, 2025, Instagram story that the statement was fake and the rumors about them leaving the show were false.

The Valley star shared the same fake statement in the story and wrote "FAKE!!" above it. Additionally, he also shared a post stating that the news of their exit was not true and they weren't going anywhere.
The Valley couple Danny and Nia opened up about feeling targeted by castmates
Rumors about Danny and Nia Booko leaving The Valley began circulating after the couple opened up about feeling targeted by their castmates for having one of the only successful relationships on the show.
During the premiere of The Valley season 2, in an interview with Us Weekly published on April 11, 2025, Nia claimed that there were a lot of conversations during the show that they weren't part of. Additionally, they believe there were moments that caught them slightly "off guard."
Nia praised her partner for handling such situations by himself, “with integrity and character,” despite numerous negative rumors being spread about their relationship.
Danny chimed in, admitting that it was a surprise to him to see the speculation about their marriage being brought up on screen.
“There were things that had happened way before we had started filming that people wanted to bring back up that were already resolved. It was people coming with a little bit of a target on our back because of how we were portrayed in season 1.”
The Valley star continued:
“All you can do is put your best foot forward and handle everything with ownership, character, integrity and move on, get better and take care of it. All you can do is make sure the No. 1 relationship is us and that we’re strong. That’s what we always do. We’re really strong in communication and making that happen.”
Later in the interview, Nia stated that while season 2 was a roller coaster ride for them, it ultimately strengthened their relationship. She noted that the experience they went through while filming could have either brought them further apart or closer.
However, because of the way they communicate and who they are with each other, she believes the situation made them even stronger as a couple than they were in the past.
At the end of the interview, the couple also talked about their impending fourth baby, stating that they were in a very sweet spot in their lives, hopeful about the future of the family.
The Valley season 2 episodes are available on Bravo and Peacock.
