Fact Check: Is The Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron dating Camila Kendra? 

The Bachelorette season 15 runner up Tyler Cameron and model Camila Kendra's relationship caused quite a stir among fans back in January 2021, when they were first spotted together. The pair continued to date for eight months before going their separate ways in August 2021. As of this writing, Tyler Cameron is not dating Camila Kendra.

According to reports, the news of their split first came to light after fans reportedly spotted that the two of them didn't follow each other on social media any longer.

Tyler and Camila reportedly got closer during the time they were quarantined together throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Both of them, however, denied rumors of being in a relationship at the time.

Speaking about his first meeting with Camila, Tyler stated on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen back in July 2021 —

"She asked me if I was from L.A., I was like, ‘No, I’m Florida,’ and she’s like, ‘I’m in Florida,' She was an hour away, we met and that’s how it happened."

The couple had a memorable first date, the details of which were further revealed by Tyler on WWHL. He stated —

"We went to a restaurant, and we sat there, we just talked for hours. We couldn’t even look at the menu, so I just told them, like, ‘Bring whatever.’ We just talked, hung out. We sat there for four hours. I had a great night."

In May 2021, the duo made a trip to Martha Stewart's farmhouse in Bedford, New York, per US Weekly.

The Bachelorette star also revealed details about his relationship with Camila on the Morning Toast podcast back in July 2021. He mentioned that although he had wanted to kiss her on the second date, she wouldn't let him kiss her until the fifth date:

"I tried to kiss (Camila) on the second date and she rejected me. ... I was like, 'I like this girl, I want to keep going.' ... On the fifth date, I finally kissed her."

Tyler also revealed to Andy Cohen on WWHL that he intended to say 'I love you' to Camila as soon as he could overcome his fears of dismissal.

The couple's romance came to an end in August 2021 as they decided to go their separate ways. According to a report by E!, a representative for Camila came forward with her reason for the breakup. He stated:

"Camila broke off the relationship to focus on her fashion modeling career."

In the absence of any official statement from the ex couple clearing up the reasons for their breakup, an insider source close to The Bachelorette star Tyler mentioned that the physical distance between Tyler and Camila played an important role in the breakdown of their relationship.

As per AOL, the source also added:

"Tyler has been traveling for work commitments, so it's been hard between the two."
