Love Island USA season 7 episode 6 was released on June 8. It documented the islanders gearing up for yet another recoupling ceremony after two new bombshells entered the villa in episode 4.
Amaya and Hannah, the two new bombshells, explored their connections through a bonding challenge and got to know men who interested them with the hopes of coupling up with them. Hannah kissed Charlie, another bombshell who entered the villa in a previous episode. But she also kissed Austin and had bonding chats with him.
In episode 5, an Aftersun episode, the interviewers asked Hannah and Amaya which of their kisses from the villa were the best. Hannah took Charlie's name but also favored her chats with Austin. In episode 6, when the men had to choose who they wanted to couple up with, Charlie picked Hannah, while Austin went for Chelley.

Fans of Love Island USA came to X to react to Hannah and Charlie's pairing. Some were for it while others were critical of it.
"Hannah said her and Charlie can run away. Absolutely, run away and be together outside of the villa. Empty bed for 2 new bombshells," a fan said.
"Charlie and Hannah really have a genuine connection. I love that for them but they’re taking up space in the villa so I hope they leave together," said another.
"Ima let Charlie and Hannah rock for now because they’re not insufferable! But when it starts to get serious they will be out my villa!" added a third.

Some fans of Love Island USA supported the pairing and rooted for them as well.

What happened between Charlie and Hannah on Love Island USA season 7?
During episode 6 of Love Island USA, when Hannah got to know Charlie better, they laughed and bonded. She came to a confessional to say that she had told herself earlier that she wouldn't put all her eggs in the same basket, but she was now the Easter Bunny. She implied that she was all in with Charlie and wasn't interested in exploring her options.
During the Aftersun episode, when the host, Sophie Monk, asked Hannah who she felt more connected to between Austin and Charlie, Hannah named the latter.
"I think its pretty self-explanatory so far. I think me and Charlie have way more, like, chemistry," she added.
She reiterated that she had a better vibe with him, but she was still down to get to know Austin. Having said that, Hannah clarified that Charlie was her overall type on paper, while with Austin, she didn't feel the same chemistry.
During one of their first one-on-one conversations on episode 4, Charlie shared that he had been working out to some old Katy Perry. He told her that everyone might've been thinking he was listening to some gangster rap, but he was listening to Teenage Dream.
After their chat, Hannah took to a Love Island USA confessional to say that Charlie was the embodiment of her type. She also praised his British accent.
