"Fantastic player"— Survivor fans react to Kyle's elimination

Survivor season 47 aired a new episode this week on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. The segment saw the remaining castaways return to their camps after Gabe's elimination.

Later in the segment, three castaways got on a boat to take part in an unknown journey and returned the same day. As the day progressed, the contestants deliberated upon who they wanted to eliminate next. Rachel and Andy believed it was time for Genevieve to go home. However, the person who received the maximum number of votes was Kyle.

Fans reacted to his elimination online and were disheartened to see him go home.

"Kyle w/ 4 immunity wins gets voted off tonight without the necklace on. Simply one of the best exits in #Survivor history. He gave everyone a hug even Jeff, appreciated the game, the friendship, wasn’t mad, mentioned how important family was 120%. A fantastic player," one person wrote on X.

"Yea I need Kyle to come back for Survivor 50 or any other future season. What a beautiful human being he is and had he made it to the end he would have definitely won," a fan commented.

"I really like Kyle and would have loved to see him win. He’s genuinely a really decent guy. I pray God blesses his life in a special way. Sue has to go! I always root for the underdog," a tweet read.

Fans of Survivor season 47 felt Kyle deserved to be a finalist.

"They took out my prince. Kyle, you were a strong competitor and deserved to make Final 3. Gonna miss seeing you but glad you made Jury," a person wrote.

"Kyle was a challenge beast who just couldn’t escape the target that came with his natural abilities. As much as I love a chaotic exit I think Kyle’s was perfect for who he is. A reminder of all we have to be thankful for on the night before Thanksgiving," a fan commented.

A new alliance results in Kyle's elimination from Survivor season 47

In Survivor season 47 episode 11, Sue and Caroline resolved the issues that emerged as a result of Gabe's elimination. The latter told Sue she saw her as "number one" and wanted to go to the final two with her. They sought out Teeny, Rachel, and Andy and formed an alliance.

Sue told the Survivor castaways that they should move forward together and called themselves 'The Underdog Alliance.' With the five of them together, Sam, Kyle, and Genevieve were on the outs.

Rachel won the immunity challenge and was safe from the upcoming Tribal Council. The Underdog alliance weighed their options and decided to vote against Kyle. The cast member received four votes against him, while Genevieve and Teeny received one each.

Kyle hugged everyone on his way out, while Caroline, Sue, Rachel, and Teeny made a pack to have four women in the finals.
