Rachel Leviss, a former cast member of Vanderpump Rules, talked about her relationship with Tom Sandoval during the Friday, April 19 episode of the Rachel Goes Rogue podcast. Leviss, aged 29, candidly shared a pivotal moment from her time at The Meadows, a mental health facility in Wickenburg, Arizona, where she sought voluntary treatment following the exposure of their secret affair.

During the podcast episode, Leviss recounted her realization of manipulation by Sandoval, which occurred after watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. In a journal entry read aloud on the podcast, Leviss described feeling akin to Ginny Weasley when under Tom Riddle's spell, indicating manipulation within her relationship with Sandoval.

She detailed instances where Sandoval allegedly undermined her decision to undergo therapy, notably stating—

"My mom has ulterior motives, he says. He tries to talk me out of treatment. 'They're going to brainwash you. There isn't such a thing called love addiction.' "

This revelation sheds light on the dynamics of their relationship and Leviss's journey towards recognizing manipulation and control tactics employed by Sandoval.

Rachel Leviss shares her revelation on being manipulated

Allegedly, Rachel Leviss and Tom Sandoval began dating in 2022. In an episode of her podcast Rachel Goes Rogue, broadcast on Friday, she said she finally witnessed the reality star 'for what he truly is' while seeking voluntary treatment at the same mental health institution following the infamous Sandoval scandal.

She came to this point by mentioning how a character in the Harry Potter series was being manipulated and suddenly mentions Sandoval's name by saying this is how he had kept her under the love spell.

Rachel Leviss also expressed that Tom Sandoval also tried to turn her up against her family by questioning the intention of her mother, and saying that she did not have her best interest at heart. She stated in the podcast that he tried to take her out from taking treatment by saying that—

"'This place is a last-ditch effort. Extending is a bad idea. You are becoming dependent on this place.' He calls me selfish for staying."

Rachel Leviss continued by saying that—

"I shared with him that I was having really dark thoughts, and I told him I was extending two more weeks. And he said that that was a bad idea. And I said, 'I'm scared if I come out of what might happen if I'm having these dark thoughts.' He said, 'That's still a bad idea. I've been having to rough it out here alone.'"

Rachel Leviss further mentioned that taking therapy finally helped her see who Sandoval really was and said how thankful she felt to get intense trauma therapy for herself and went on by saying that—

"I feel like I'm very thankful that I've had this experience to go in and get mental health care and intense trauma therapy because, without it, I would have remained under Tom's spell," she said. "This is towards the end of my journal. So it took me all of this time to get to this point where I was like, 'Oh my god. He is always playing the victim role. He is switching the script on me to manipulate me and to control me.' "

She wrapped up by stating that this was like a game-changing notebook entry, with pages of undisputed conversations.
