Ginny & Georgia season 3 has made it very clear that it is not playing around when it comes to tackling some sensitive topics. Despite a large portion of the season being dedicated to exploring Georgia's fate, it also addressed mental health issues through the lens of several characters.

Towards the end of the show, one character in particular took a major step that would potentially ensure their mental well-being. This character is none other than Marcus, Ginny's on-again and off-again romantic interest.
Season 2 of Ginny & Georgia saw Marcus fighting his demons and failing, which led to his breakup with Ginny. However, in season 3, he is going to rehab, indicating he is willing to put in the effort needed to get better.
While we will likely find out how that works out for him in season 4, I am confident that Marcus will emerge stronger on the other side.
Ginny & Georgia season 3 sees Marcus take the next step in addressing his mental health issues
Marcus's severe mental health struggles were brought to light in season 2 of Ginny & Georgia. Things had gotten so bad for him that he did not know how to control them. It took up a large portion of his life, leading to feelings of unworthiness, low self-esteem, and a lack of love and acceptance for himself. With no other options in view, Marcus turned to drinking to relieve his stress, but things only got worse.
Marcus also broke up with Ginny because he did not have the bandwidth to accommodate her emotions when he did not love himself. Marcus' sister, Max, and Ginny tried to help him several times, but to no avail.
However, towards the end of Ginny & Georgia season 3, Marcus is seen driving off with his mother to a rehab facility where he will be spending some time. This was after Marcus's condition did not improve much this season.
As a viewer and as somebody who has had mental health issues for years, I felt genuinely happy seeing Marcus take the first step in improving his psychological well-being. I hope everything works out for him at the rehab and he comes out stronger than ever next season.

Ginny & Georgia season 3 also saw Ginny taking greater charge of her life
Like Marcus, Ginny also struggles with her mental health. In the show's previous seasons, she was shown to be self-harming, which led to an intervention from her father. He then signed her up with a therapist, but without her mother's knowledge. Ginny experienced some progress with her, but things got worse as Georgia got embroiled in one mess after the other.
However, in Ginny & Georgia season 3, the ball is in Ginny's court. With Georgia behind bars this season, Ginny works her charm on the people around her and proves her mother innocent. Georgia is out of jail, and her behavior towards Ginny has drastically changed. That said, her mother's approach is not different just because she helped her get out.
Over the show's span, Georgia has come to understand the negative ways her past activities have impacted her and Austin. For the same reason, she seems to have been exercising more restraint in what she says and does.
In Ginny & Georgia season 3, Ginny is more confident. She just saved her mother from being jailed through careful planning and a little blackmail. She is also basking in the glory of her mother being more lenient towards her.
She takes all of that and takes active steps for her betterment, including sharing a closer bond with her father, Zion. She also becomes a Youth Poet Laureate at her school and is looking forward to going on a trip to South Korea with her father.
