What to expect from Dune: Prophecy episode 3?
Learn more about Desmond Hart
Going into Dune: Prophecy episode 3, fans can certainly learn more about the power that Desmond Hart has been gifted. Since he killed Pruwet Richese and Mother Kasha in the first episode and has sworn his loyalty to the Corrino family, fans can expect to see him continue to be used as the Emperor's personal weapon.
It was also revealed that he was swallowed by Shai-Hulud, the great sandworm on Arrakis, and that is how he was given his gift. During his interrogation with Valya, he revealed that one of his eyes was taken and that he was given something much greater in return. He also teased an impending doom to come to Valya.
During Lila's agony too, it was revealed that the key to the reckoning is someone who is born twice—once in blood and once in sand. With Desmond Hart matching that description, it definitely looks like whatever the incoming reckoning is, he is deeply connected to it.
The arrival of Sister Francesca
Fans can also expect Indian actress Tabu to make her debut in Dune: Prophecy episode 3. She plays the role of Sister Francesca, a powerful member of the Bene Gesserit and the Sisterhood. She also maintained a romantic past with the Emperor when she was young.
Given that the Emperor is using his powers in a way that goes against the Sisterhood's plans, fans can expect Valya Harkonnen to send Francesca down to Salusa Secundus to make an imbalance in the Imperium.
A conflict between Tula and Valya
Tula and Valya are two ends of a stick; while Valya is more extreme in her ways and not empathetic, Tula cares more about those around her. With Lila now dying during the Agony after Valya demanded she go through it, this will certainly send Tula into a spiral as she raised Lila on her own.
This will certainly create a conflict between the sisters, which fans can expect to see in Dune: Prophecy episode 3.
