House of the Dragon season 2 premiere kicked off Jacaerys forming an alliance with the Stark House by extending a hand of friendship towards Creagan Stark, and the latter feigned his loyalty to the Blacks. All of a sudden, Jacaerys learned about his younger brother Lucerys’ death and rushed to Dragonstone.

After restlessly finding the remains of her son, Rhaenyra encountered the severed wing of Arrax and a piece of clothing as well that belonged to Lucerys. She later returned to Dragonstone and proclaimed that she wanted Aemond. Daemon encountered Mysaria and got to learn about her assassin in the Red Keep, Cheese.

Under the disguise of a commoner, Daemon arrived at the King’s Landing and met one of his loyal soldiers, Blood. After meeting Cheese and ordering him to assassinate Aemond, Daemon also told him that Blood would also tag along to provide assistance. Daemon also told them that if they couldn’t find Aemond, they were free to kill any of the male heirs, to enact a son-for-a-son revenge.
