Twitch star Marlon has returned to streaming after ending his hiatus. The 23-year-old had decided to take some time off from streaming after reportedly being attacked outside his home in late May. According to images he shared on social media at the time, he sustained multiple injuries, including a black eye and cuts from unknown objects.
Marlon has made an enthusiastic return to streaming after nine days, seemingly having attained a brand-new house reported to be worth $2 million. Starting his broadcast from within the rooms of the unfurnished home, he exclaimed:
"We f**king did it! Come on!"
A clip of the moment has been going viral on X, garnering over 177,000 views since being posted. Many netizens congratulated the streamer for apparently managing to acquire the property, while others remained skeptical.
"He's been putting in the work, congrats to him," X user @Brandino76 wrote.
"Damn he making that kinda money aleady? That Lacy push is crazy," @BlitzReply commented.
"so happy for Marlon, from streaming in a shed to buying a crib, inspirational," @Icysnipes24 posted.
One netizen speculated that the house could have been rented and not bought, thus not technically belonging to Marlon.
"'Rented' not owned, so no not HIS new $2M house his rented house," @ItsDrDamon opined.
On the other side, many noticed the lack of furniture in the house, indicating that the content creator has recently shifted in or is in the process of moving in:
"Buddy got no furniture," X user @ashebabes wrote.
"Single chair as the furniture," @RealSelectHenry remarked.
What happened during the alleged attack on Marlon?
Marlon shared posts on X in late May, stating that he had been the victim of an ambush attack outside his home, which led to a scuffle that left him bruised and cut. He said the incident took place when he had gone down the street and that he was unexpectedly attacked by four unidentified individuals.
Further, the streamer claimed that he had received cuts and shared photos showcasing his bloodied neck. However, the post was later removed from the website.
The internet personality also eventually appeared in a broadcast to showcase his injuries, with his face featuring a prominent black eye and other smaller bruises. He also said he had fought back in self-defense.
