Twitch streamer Zack "Asmongold" has commented on controversial internet personality Chris Chan supposedly having a child. During a livestream on November 25, 2024, the Austin, Texas-based personality was browsing his official subreddit when he came across a tweet claiming Chris Chan and their Finnish girlfriend were expecting a child.
While reacting to the social media post, Asmongold referred to Chris Chan as the "most documented human being in history." He elaborated:
"Where do I begin? Chris Chan is probably one of, if not the most documented human being in the history of history. People know more about Chris Chan than they do about Christopher Columbus. They know more about him than they know about Galileo, Isaac Newton, George Washington, probably all put together. Just because you don't know, doesn't mean people don't know."

A few moments later, the co-founder of One True King's (OTK) attention was drawn to a live viewer, who jokingly remarked that "Sonichu was coming into this world." For those unaware, Sonichu is an amalgamation of Sonic the Hedgehog and Pikachu from Pokemon. Chris Chan's comic series stars Sonichu as the protagonist.
Commenting on the situation, Asmongold said:
"'Sonichu is coming into this world.' Oh, that's actually, you know what? That's a good point. Do you think they're going to name the kid Sonichu? I feel like there's a 30% chance of that happening. 'I hope so.' Me too. Me too!"

During the same Twitch broadcast, Asmongold commented on controversies surrounding Chris Chan. While reading X user @PimpMasterYoda1's tweet, the content creator stated that the 42-year-old had to "avoid going to prison":
"Chris Chan has been an internet celebrity for 20 years. Well, I'm just going to say it - people think he... his mom. That's what happened. But anyway, he had to avoid going to prison, and that made him have to move out. So, in some sort of weird... like, imagine basically, you're playing a DND campaign, you roll ones for 20 years, and somehow some way, out of nowhere, you roll a 20."
Asmongold continued:
"He gets a girlfriend. Gets a short Finnish girlfriend, and apparently flies him to Finland, he gets her pregnant. Imagine your life improving dramatically because you have committed... something thought only in Game of Thrones."
