Kick streamer Nermin "Cheesur" has become the subject of yet another controversy, after making a post on X in which he called out the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). While he did not name the crime organization in particular, he taunted its leader, Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes (aka El Mencho).

As initial reports suggested, he had allegedly made the post on November 22, 2024, through alternate accounts. However, a newer report has since claimed that the accounts are made by individuals impersonating Cheesur.

These alleged fake accounts are said to be making such inflammatory posts in an attempt to "troll" Cheesur. Despite this, Cheesur is said to have gone missing the day after the post emerged, as reported by X user @Kick_Champ.

Kick content creator Nermin "Cheesur" is known best for being a part of fellow streamer Adin Ross' streamer collective, Stacey Step Bros (SSB), which also includes other Kick streamers like Cameron "Cuffem", Steven "Konvy", Shnaggyhose, and Izi Prime.

The post which is said to be the originating point of the controversy, stated:

"F**k the Mexican cartel. F**k El Mencho. Pull up in Jacksonville Florida."

X user @Kick_Champ made a post and initially reported that Cheesur himself made the statement. However, this has since been deleted. Another post, made by popular internet news reporting figure @DramaAlert on X, has clarified the statement to have been produced by individuals attempting to put Cheesur in unfavorable relations with the cartel.

Another post made by @Kick_Champ on November 24, 2024, announced that Cheesur had supposedly gone missing a day after the posts emerged online, with users speculating some form of connection between the two events. The "missing person" post included Cheesur's personally identifiable information, as well as a phone number for reporting information related to his whereabouts.

Cheesur had previously come under fire for making racially motivated remarks against fellow streamer BruceDropEmOff after the latter decided to leave Kick to stream on Twitch. While addressing Kick's co-founder, Eddie Craven, Cheesur made negative remarks about doing "business with black people" in the context of BruceDropEmOff's actions.
