Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has garnered attention on social media after he shared his thoughts on colonialism. During a livestream on the Stake-backed platform, xQc reacted to a video titled, Inside the Bank of England's gold vaults. At one point, the video's host, Idris Elba, stated that the gold vault resembled something from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark.

In response, xQc voiced his "cold-hearted take," claiming that history is made from "conquests, wars, pillaging, killing, and taking." He went on to say that those who claim their possessions/assets were stolen were the ones who "lost."

The French-Canadian personality remarked:

"Do you want to hear a cold-hearted take? I don't give a f**k if they stole it or not. Okay? History is made from conquest, wars, pillaging, killing, taking. People that say, 'Stolen,' are the people who f**king lost! Okay? That's where it is. I don't want to f**king hear it. They tried and f**king failed. You f**king lost! Handle it! Holy s**t!"

xQc recently received backlash for seemingly poor-shaming a Deadlock player

On August 26, 2024, a video was uploaded to xQc's official clips channel on YouTube, in which he appeared to poor-shame a Deadlock player after getting outplayed by them. Commenting on the player's financial situation, the Twitch streamer said:

"All right, you killed me. Congratulations, man. You did the impossible. Now pay the rent. Now afford food. Got ya!"

The content creator's remarks were not well-received by his community. While one viewer claimed that xQc "gambles to hide his poor gaming skills," another netizen described the former Overwatch pro as a "tragic figure of his own making."
