WNBA star Caitlin Clark is currently enjoying the WNBA Olympic break before WNBA action resumes next week on Aug. 15. While Clark and the Indiana Fever prepare for their first game back on Aug. 16 against the Phoenix Mercury, the young star took some time to attend a New York Yankees MLB game.

After being named to the WNBA All-Star team in her rookie year, Clark and the WNBA All-Stars picked up a stunning win over the Team USA Olympic team during All-Star weekend in Phoenix. During the game, Clark set the rookie assist record with 10 assists in the team's win.

Since then, she has continued to focus on training, and recovery, while Team USA continues to fight for a gold medal in Paris. On Saturday, Clark attended the Yankees' home game against the Texas Rangers.

Photos of Clark decked out in Yankees gear were posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, including a photo of Clark alongside Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo. In another photo, Clark can be seen standing in a roped-off area leading up to the game.

WNBA fans were quick to react to the star attending a Yankeees game:

"She would be a better 2nd baseman than Gleyber," one joked.
"I think we’ve found our new starting pitcher for the postseason. Great move by Cashman!" another joked.

Others also took the opportunity to joke about Clark becoming a member of the Yankees:

"Boone will ruin her and she'll be on the IL in a week," one wrote in regard to the Yankees manager.
"Get her on the mound. Has to be better than what Nestor Cortes is doing lately," another joked.
"Can she pitch the 9th?" one wrote.

Others suggested that the Yankees jersey suits Clark:

"Pinstripes look good on your Caitlin, welcome to New York!" one wrote.
"man she looks good in the pinstripes," another added.

In addition to being photographed with Anthony Rizzo, Caitlin Clark was also photographed alongside another notable Yankees player, Aaron Judge. Judge, who is a six-time All-Star, and the 2022 AL MVP, can be seen next to Clark pre-game, with fans noting his size in comparison to the WNBA star.

According to MLB.com, Judge stands at 6'7, making him three inches taller than the average height of a WNBA center, which is 6'4 according to JokerMag. On the flip side, Clark is listed at 6'0 according to WNBA.com, which is on-par with the WNBA's average height for guards (6'0).

Looking at the remainder of the season ahead for Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever

As previously mentioned, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are currently enjoying the WNBA's Olympic break. Once action resumes around the league on Aug. 15, Clark and the Fever will return to action on Aug. 16, when they face off with the Phoenix Mercury.

The team has 14 games remaining on their schedule before the start of the WNBA playoffs. Currently, the Fever are ranked third in the Eastern Conference, and seventh overall in the WNBA.

The league seeds teams based on overall rankings rather than conference rankings like the NBA, with the top eight teams advancing to the playoffs. So long as Caitlin Clark and the Fever are able to hold onto a top-eight spot, Clark will make the playoffs for the first time as a rookie.
