@aysiacchanell posted a video of the Connecticut Sun player leaning into their potential acting talent during a livestream. The video showed Rivers wearing Mabrey's dress and acting like she didn't know Mabrey, who was wearing Rivers' dress.
Marina Mabrey had to approach and hit on Rivers in the video. However, the duo hilariously kept messing it up because they couldn't control their laughter.

Marina Mabrey has a changed perspective on staying with Connecticut Sun
Last season, Connecticut Sun reached the second round of the playoffs. After dismantling this offseason, the Sun team is at the bottom of the table. Connecticut has won just two of the nine games this season.
Despite Marina Mabrey's initial effort to force a trade, the Sun refused to accept her request. Mabrey wanted to go to a team where she could win games, but the Sun wanted to build the team around her. This created tension between Mabrey and the Sun's front office.
However, as the season has progressed, Mabrey's mindset has changed. In a conversation with Sarah Spain on "Good Game," Mabrey said that she believed that god had a bigger plan for her and believed that she could achieve something big in Connecticut.
"For some reason, I keep getting put in the same position and it is cuz god has a plan for me to grow into something way bigger than I even thought I could be."
