VCT Game Changers Championship 2024 is finally making its way to the elimination matches. Day 3 had two matches scheduled, which included a series between Pacific's ZETA DIVISION and NA's FLYQuest RED. The Bo3 (best-of-three) series went the distance as both teams were able to win on their opponent's map pick. However, on the final map, Ascent, ZETA DIVISION completely took over the match and was able to soundly defeat FLYQuest RED, closing the series with a 2-1 scoreline.

After the match, Sportskeeda Esports' Sneh Jadhav got the opportunity to talk to ZETA DIVISION's suzu, during which she said:

"I wasn't really feeling pressured"

ZETA DIVISION's suzu talks about bouncing back from the loss on Haven against FLYQuest RED in VCT Game Changers Championship 2024

ZETA DIVISION came into this event as the number two seed from the Pacific region. The community had a good amount of expectations from the team due to its strong performance in the region. However, it struggled in its first match of GCC 2024 against KRÜ BLAZE, playing a bit nervously and being unable to fully adapt to its opponents.

ZETA DIVISION's second match against FLYQuest RED started in a similar fashion as the former got dominated on the first map, Haven. However, this time, ZETA DIVISION was able to bounce back immediately, as they comfortably won the second map, Sunset, and dominated the decider map, Ascent.

Sportskeeda Esports approached ZETA DIVISION's suzu to ask her whether any discussion was done within the team to mentally reset after the loss on Haven. Here's what she said:

"So I wasn't really doing any mental reset because I wasn't really feeling down or I wasn't really feeling pressured by the loss on the first map. We just knew that we could win Sunset so we were focused on the next map."

As a result of this win, ZETA DIVISION will be progressing further in the lower brackets. Their next match will be against EMEA's Team Falcons Vega.
