After Week 7, Day 2 of VCT 2023: Pacific League concluded, Sportskeeda Esports got the opportunity to participate in the post-match scrum interviews with Spin. Peter "Spin" Bradford is a coach for Global Esports. During the interview, the coach was questioned about the team's struggle on the map Pearl against Rex Regum Qeon, despite it being a strong map for the team. To answer this question, coach Spin had to say the following:

"So the composition they play is the variation on the composition that LOUD played at LOCK//IN. We played against this comp in practice lots and lots of times. We know exactly how to beat it and we just didn't really execute our game plan for how to beat it. Particularly on the defense side, we struggled a lot with the rounds that we really wouldn't in practice usually."

According to the coach, the Agent composition that Rex Regum Qeon played in the match was a modified version of LOUD's Pearl composition from VCT 2023: LOCK//IN. In the match, RRQ's Agent composition included Killjoy, Harbor, Skye, Jett, and Astra. Spin stated that this is a composition that Global Esports was well prepared for.

They knew how to counter them, but the strategies for this match weren't executed properly, and as a result, they lost with a score of 13-11. The team appeared to struggle mostly on the Defense half of the map, which according to the coach, was unusual as they wouldn't lose those rounds in the practice sessions and scrims. As a result, Global Esports lost the best of three to Rex Regum Qeon with an overall score of 2-0.
