The movie Dangal hit theaters last year and broke all kinds of box office records in India and even across the world. It received appreciation from all over the globe as people were inspired by the incredible story of Mahavir Phogat and his daughters, who braved the odds to win glory for the nation. The film touched hearts of audiences across the world, especially in China, and looks like there is another person who has taken inspiration from the movie.

Known for his explosive pace and energy on the cricket field, former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee made his 'wrestling debut' in a traditional mud 'akhara' as he faced off against his opponent and even pinned him successfully to the ground.

The speedster is in Mysore, Karnataka as part of the commentary team for the ongoing Karnataka Premier League and in a promotional video for Star Sports, he stepped into the ring to take his wrestling bow.

Lee has always been a firm fan favourite among Indian fans, despite being a part of the dominant Australian side that defeated the Indian team on many occasions. He played multiple seasons in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well before his retirement from all forms of the game in 2015.

Notably, he has also featured in a song titled 'You're the One for Me' with legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle and has also acted in the Indo-Australian movie UnIndian, opposite actress Tannishtha Chatterjee.

After watching him send batsmen packing with his vicious yorkers and bouncers, it is quite fascinating to see Lee in the akhara!
