The End of an Era prediction: WWE Raw 19/3/2012

Tonight, the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia will be hosting an enthralling Monday Night Raw Supershow featuring stars like The Rock, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker and Triple H. Wrestlemania 28 is just two weeks away and this Raw will be the penultimate show before the grandest stage of them all. Here’s a brief preview to tonight’s Raw.

The Rock has a surprise in store for Philadelphia

On Sunday, The Rock tweeted that he has a surprise in store on Raw:

With his Rock concert electrifying Cleveland last week, what does the Rock have in store for the City of brotherly love?

John Cena takes on Mark Henry

Just 13 days ahead of his epic battle with The Rock, John Cena faces a huge threat in the form of the World’s strongest man – Mark Henry. It will be interesting to see whether Cena will reign supreme at the end of this match to gain momentum ahead of his clash with the Rock.

John Cena has a huge task at hand as he takes on the World's strongest man – Mark Henry

CM Punk‘s response to Chris Jericho

Last week on Raw, Chris Jericho made scathing accusations against his opponent at Wrestlemania 28 – reigning WWE champion CM Punk. This ‘Best in the World’ rivalry was made personal by Jericho as he accused that Punk’s father being a alcoholic was the reason behind CM Punk being straightedge. CM Punk was visibly flabbergasted by Y2J’s accusations and we will get to hear his side of the story this week.

The End of an Era prediction

Triple H, The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels will be in the same ring to discuss about the Hell in a Cell match at Wrestlemania. In the last few week we have been treated to one on one confrontations between HBK and The Game and also between HBK and Undertaker. This week all three will be in the same ring and will build up to the ‘End of an Era’ Hell in a Cell match at Wrestlemania. Expect sparks to fly as the talks of End of an Era reach a breaking point.

Team Johnny and Team Teddy have three slots left to be filled.

Team Teddy vs Team Johnny

The 12 man-tag team match between Team Johnny headed by David Otunga and Team Teddy headed by Santino Marella will build up as we still have three slots left in both the teams. As of now, Team Johnny, captained by David Otunga, has two former World heavyweight champions Christian and Mark Henry to boast. On the other hand, Team Teddy, captained by the Italian Stallion, the reigning United States Champion – Santino Marella, features the enigmatic R-Truth and the athletic Kofi Kingston. The remaining slots will likely be filled on the forthcoming Raw and Smackdown shows. Alberto Del Rio is expected to return this week to join Team Johnny and Rey Mysterio is expected to join Team Teddy. The remaining slots may be filled by stars like The Miz, Zack Ryder, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Brodus Clay etc.

Smackdown wrestlers and Dark match

World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Henry, Randy Orton, Big Show, and IC champion Cody Rhodes are the Smackdown wrestlers who have been advertised to show up on Raw. The advertised dark match for the live crowd in Philadelphia will feature John Cena & C.M. Punk taking on the team of Chris Jericho & Kane.

Make sure that you don’t miss yet another action packed Raw on the road to Wrestlemania 28.
