WWE Raw 26/3/2012: Wrestlemania beckons
The final WWE Monday Night Raw Supershow before Wrestlemania 28 will be held at The Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. This go home show for WWE’s biggest PPV of the year is vital as it will be the final stop before we get to witness history being made at Miami, Florida. Finishing touches will be given to the various feuds which have already been built adequately.
The Rock will be in attendance on Raw and it will be interesting to see if he has any sort of physicality with John Cena during the show. It is highly unlikely but John Cena has to respond to Rock’s message last week when he rock-bottomed Mark Henry. What will these men have to say just 6 days ahead of their ‘Once in a lifetime’ match at Wrestlemania 28?
The 12 man tag-team match between Team Johnny and Team Teddy will be given a fair share of TV time as there is still one slot left in each team. Will the remaining slots be filled on Raw or should we have to wait till mania? Probably they will be filled on Raw. The possible candidates for those two slots are The Miz, Alberto Del Rio, Rey Mysterio and Brodus Clay. Even Mick Foley has teased himself being a part of Team Teddy on twitter. So, who will be last 2 to join this match?
The Miz has promised via a tweet that he will make a statement on Raw. The Miz, who was in the main event of Wrestlemania 27, still doesn’t have a scheduled match at this years mania. Does his statement have something to do with this? Will he be a part of the 12 man tag match? We will get the answers for these questions on Raw.
Chris Jericho – CM Punk rivalry has gone personal for the past few weeks. Jericho has been mentally pressurizing CM Punk with his verbal volleys and they seem to have an effect on the Straightedge WWE Champion. What will Jericho come up with this week?
The feud between Kane and Randy Orton has been half baked. Sure, both men have been attacking each other over the past few weeks. But it has not been given the spotlight that it deserves. On this week’s Raw, expect Kane and Randy Orton to have a go at each other.
Last week, The Undertaker dropped a bombshell, telling Triple H that Shawn is better than him. So, it is unlikely like either of those three will be making an appearance on Raw. We will probably see a vignette rehashing this feud from where it all started.
The advertised dark match for the show is CM Punk and John Cena vs Chris Jericho and Kane.
