ICC World T20 2016: Bangladesh and England unveil new jerseys ahead of the tournament

After the launch of team India’s new kit for the World T20, it’s time for the neighbors. Bangladesh players will wear new clothes in the upcoming World T20 which was unveiled on March 5.

The design of the jersey has been changed completely from the previous one. Both the colors of the national flag red and green has been used for the jersey, unlike in the past where green would dominate the jersey.

This time, the use of red is more which signifies the rising sun in Bangladesh which perfectly represents the current Bangladesh team. Bangladesh showed their caliber by reaching the finals of the recently concluded Asia Cup T20 where they lost to India by 8 wickets. They will go into the World T20 as one of the dark horses owing to the familiar sub-continent condition.

Three Lions players will also don new colors for the World T20. They will step out in the tournament in “Blood Red Color”. The England Cricket Board (ECB) shared the picture of the newly designed jersey for the upcoming tournament in their Instagram account.

England’s kit makers Adidas named the jersey “Adidas UK T20 Shirt” which received a mixed response from the fans. Some of the fans appreciated the newly unveiled jersey while others showed their disappointment.

India has already unveiled their new kit for the World T20 2016 which looks bold, with a contemporary striped pattern. The jersey makers Nike wish to express the excitement and responsibility the players feel when representing their country.

The jersey comes with lots of nice features and has a modern aesthetic and laminated modern collar with newly-moulded BCCI crest. The tri-colour also gets a evolved look on the jersey.
