Rumours are making the rounds that AS Monaco are targeting Manchester City defender, Vincent Kompany. Having apparently tried and failed to sign Vincent Kompany during the summer, the Russian billionaire and AS Monaco owner Dmitry Rybolovlev will renew his attempts to lure the Belgian centre-half to the Ligue 1 club during the transfer window. Kompany has a contract that keeps him at City until 2018, and unless he decides to move voluntarily, the player isn’t going anywhere. (The Guardian)

Tottenham Hotspur outcast Emmanuel Adebayor is wanted by the Turkish side Besiktas, who tried to sign him in August and will renew their interest ahead of the January transfer window.
